After Ganina escaped the Deep Darkness, with the help of Tasus the Twist, she went to the desert located at the north of Sydia; where she dwelt and plotted her revenge against the Hym and people of Sydia.
Sitting in her desert hideaway, Ganina remembered when as a young priestess serving in the temple of the Three Union, how she diligently and passionately served Hym the god of lights. In her service, she entered a covenant with him and he in turn protected and empowered her for all her undertakings and adventures, as far as she brings him spoils and souls. In her service, she carried out numerous assignments on his behalf, conquering people and kingdom and bringing them all under the servitude of the god Hym. She diligently carried out his plans to rule all human races without question; she was wining until the kingdom of Sydia. The kingdom of Sydia for years proved resilient and wise in the dealings with her, they not only defeated her but turned Hym against her. They went to him and offered their most cheered freedom, by agreeing to worship Hym (the most powerful) for his protection. True to Hym’s nature, he took the deal and betrayed Ganina by stripping her off her powers and imprisoning her in the Deep Darkness.
Today, as Ganina thought, she is now free from the Deep Darkness with a new vigour and determination to bring vengeance and wrath on both Hym and the Kingdom of Sydia; ‘she will destroy both!’ she promised. Moreover, this she surmised could only be possible by her making use of her new ally, Tasus the brother of Hym.
Both brothers share similar fate, which was, one, to rule as, god lights or god of Twist. It was up to them to compete between themselves and win glory that is more desirable to them. And, the most powerful of the two offices is that of the god of lights. This is because he is closest to humans, which enables him to empowers himself with their worship and covenants. This made the two brothers fight and compete for the honour of being the god of lights, with the loser being the lesser god (Twist). However, Hym won the supreme battle over Tasus for the coveted power. Since then, Hym grew stronger and stronger, while Tasus diminishes because of lack of worshippers.
Now, Ganina struck a deal with Tasus; she is to help him overthrow and defeat Hym and give him all the glory that Hym currently enjoys. Tasus released her from the Deep-Darkness (only a god can do this), in exchange for her alliance and help. Tasus longs for the position as god of lights. Which made him susceptible her whims and control, thus he released her from the Deep Darkness with the promise of helping her in every way possible including giving her the use of his best creation, the beast, Scufemar.
To that effect, Ganina tasked her most loyal subjects Annco, Bampa and Yahana to come up with a plan in overthrowing and defeating the king of Sydia using Tasus’ beast. This was because they were her most trusted and intelligent team of strange fellows she has the pleasure of knowing. In that instance, loud voices coming from the other room interrupted her thought.
